The truth is that most websites use quotes as an easy way to get an article or post written about them. It’s not a bad thing, but it does seem to be a double standard. The sites that use quotes as a way to get an article written about them seem to be the ones that make the most money.
The truth is that a quote is simply a story. It is not the facts, nor does it indicate whether the story is true or not. The quote itself is the product of the writer’s imagination, or as the poet William Butler Yeats put it, “What the mind can conceive, it can also imagine.
In the past, we’ve tried several different techniques from both ends of the spectrum in trying to get a quote written about an article or post. We’ve tried to get quotes to pop up on our site, we’ve tried writing a post and then have the quote appear in it, and we’ve tried just writing the quote, or even not bothering to do anything at all. None of these approaches seems to have worked out well enough.

This is a really weird one. A lot of people think they can just “write” a quote, and then link to it in their articles. But this actually isn’t possible. The reason this happens is because the quote needs to be about the article or post. To be put into quotes, you would have to have an article or post that has a link to the quote.
