“I feel like I’m being judged.
What a weird feeling. Not only is it weird being judged, but it’s even more weird that this is even happening right now. I remember the first time I ever heard someone use the word “emo” in a sentence. It was a couple of years back on the show The Last Man On Earth, and the actor playing the character who was a big emo guy, the “emotionless” Mr.
I’m not emos, but I certainly feel like Im being judged. This feels like the end of the world.
The word emo isn’t a word that usually evokes feelings of anger or even sadness, it’s something that, at least in its English meaning, feels more like a state of mind. While the word itself is a bit of a mouthful, it feels like being judged. For me, the reason I feel like this is because I’ve read a lot of music and that’s actually what Im feeling. I feel like I’m being judged for using a song I like.
You’re judging me for using a song that you like. That is a pretty severe judgement, and I guess it means that it has already been decided that I am not a good writer. (Or at least that the writing I do is not good. My work was not good enough to have it submitted to a finalist in the contest, so I was basically thrown in the trash. That was fun, but I hope my work does not ever have that feeling.
I guess there is something to be said about the fact that there are many people who feel that they have to play a certain way for their music to be recognized as “good” or be considered acceptable. I’m not sure if this is just a cultural thing or if it has any affect on reality. Maybe all of us are just used to it, but I think people who have to play by someone else’s rules are probably the most screwed up of the bunch.
Well, we’re back with my favorite quote of the day and perhaps the greatest.
Maybe it was just me, but I find that music with different subject matter usually works better than music that is the same subject matter all the time. Like I always say, the more topics you have, the more you have to think about, and the more you have to listen to. I’m not sure how much of this applies to music, but the music industry is a tough business and is always looking to keep new trends in the game.
The music industry is another tough business. Artists and songwriters always need to know they are being watched in the art world. It’s also a tough business because artists are paid much more than they are worth.
